...I've said time and time again that this isn't my serious work: this is what I do to have fun. I experiment here, refine techniques that fall into other work, or sometimes I'm just lazy and doodle because I can. Everyone needs a break from client work sometimes, after all.

It's a shame, but some people don't understand that. They don't understand that the work that takes my time and talent often ends up under NDAs or that it's just nice to blow off steam and goof around. When I'm paid to be good, I do good. When I'm drawing for fun, I'm not overly concerned if it comes out great, as long as it comes out decent.

Alas, such is the way of things. Can't expect everyone to understand, I suppose.

I'll try to upload something reasonably current/good in the near future, if I get a break. I'm currently up to my ears in work that takes all my time, but doesn't pay off until a couple months from now, so with any luck I squeeze some me time in there. Bittersweet, ain't it?
